About Me
Hi, thank you for visiting my site!
I have been teaching for over 5 years, with experience teaching voice and piano to students ranging from 3 years old to 50 years old. As a performer in classical, musical theatre, and pop styles, I have won several awards for my performances in all three styles. I am extremely passionate about teaching, and absolutely love sharing my passion with my students. I believe that music can communicate what words cannot--we just need to learn how.
What I Offer
Voice Lessons
I have experience teaching students of all experience levels and ages. I focus on classical, musical theatre, and pop styles of singing, while learning about and applying healthy vocal techniques. I incorporate sight singing, aural skills, sheet music literacy, and simple piano skills in my singing lessons, to develop well-rounded musicians. Try out a group lesson with a friend!
Piano Lessons
Piano is a perfect instrument for any starting musician, and the perfect supplement for musicians looking to further their expertise. I offer beginner-intermediate piano lessons for ages 3 and up, always focusing on student-led learning. We will focus on songs that the student wants to play, while learning about sight reading, aural skills, and music theory.
Audition Prep
When you have an audition coming up, whether it is for college, a musical, an opera, a solo, choral festivals, or anything else--let me show you the ropes! Not only will I help you pick and prepare audition materials, but I'll help you work through audition anxiety, prepare you to work with an accompanist, and discuss audition etiquette.
Preschool Music Lessons
Is your child a little too young for piano or voice lessons? That doesn't mean they can't start being enriched by music! Kids ages 2-4 can benefit from learning broad music concepts through play and movement. Enrichment through music at a young age can help with developmental mile stones while having a ton of fun!
All lessons are offered virtually via Zoom or in person in either Phillipsburg, NJ or Califon, NJ.
